What you can expect in each class
Our 12+ are outdoor campus provides unique opportunities for exploration of trails, creeks, ponds, forests, meadows and so much more! Classes will investigate and learn about slugs and insects, animals living in ponds, varieties of birds in the trees and so much more. The kids will learn how to share, care and love the outdoors while interacting with their fellow Tiny Trekkers under the guidance of their Tiny Treks Outdoor Explorer leaders. Each class will include a hike, learning while playing time, investigation of the natural wonders we find, snack, story and lunch time. Craft and building projects will be introduced during the school year, as well as building campfires and outdoor cooking.
Children will need to bring water, snack and lunch in their backpack for our outdoor adventures. Class is led by 2 teachers with 12 children in the class. Children must be dressed for outdoor weather and able to be away from parents for 3-4 hours.
Specific Outdoor clothing is a must. You will receive an email upon registration with all of the clothing requirements.
We are Mask Optional.
For school closures, make up days will be added to the end of the school year.
